The Faculty of Sociology and Social Work within University Babes-Bolyai of Cluj together with Amare Prhala Association and Desire Foundation are organizing the public debate “Roma relocation and its social consequences” on January 17, 2011, 4 pm, at the Faculty’s main building located on Anghel Saligny Street, no. 1, 4th floor, Cluj.

The main media partner is TVR Cluj. Free entrance.

Dear colleagues,

We are happy to inform you the the Association of Schools of Social Work in Romania is established as of August 2010. ASSW-Romania is an NGO established by academics from the top four Social Work Departments in Romania: University of Bucharest, University Babeş-Bolyai of Cluj, University Al.I.Cuza of Iaşi and West University of Timişoara.

ASSW-Romania aims at promoting and developing the education and research in the field of social work, both at national and international levels. ASSW-Romania supports and sustains the increase of:

Cooperation between schools of social work in Romania and abroad;
Top programs of education in the field of social work;
Participation in regional, European and international networks in the field of social work;
Research in social work.
